Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Midge the Dog needs a home

Midge came to us last March from a terrible shelter situation. She was severely underweight, clearly blind in her right eye and it turned out that she was positive for Parvo.

Since then she's been in a great foster home, where she's fully recovered from the Parvo and has become a pretty healthy girl. Despite her blindness, she's extremely active and a happy go lucky girl. She underwent her spay surgery and we are now planning her eye removal surgery.

Midge loves to cuddle with her human foster mom and romp and play with her canine foster sister. We are looking for an experience dog owner/family where she can start her obedience training and have an established home for her surgery recovery. She's been through so much already, and we would love to see her get a home before the holidays. She deserves a family to call her own. Although our foster program is amazing, it's not ideal for long term situations. Midge would benefit 100% from a permanent home, where her people can dedicate time to training and most importantly just to LOVE HER! If you are interested, please apply today!
